Morgan Sanders is junior at Texas A&M majoring in both animal science and soil and crop science. In addition to her studies she is also a member of the Texas A&M Agronomy Society. By studying both crops and animals Morgan hopes to use this information to work on agriculture systems that also combine the two. Her interest in research led her to student jobs in both the poultry science department, where she worked in animal welfare, as well as the cotton improvement lab. Morgan grew up in a military family and in observing the grace in which her parents did their part to serve their country it installed a desire to do the same. She spent her childhood moving around in both the United States as well as foreign countries. This environment led to her to not only wanted to help the United States but other countries as well. During her time in Rome, Morgan aims to gain a better understanding of how different governments work together to improve the environmental and agricultural practices.
