Blake Ramsey grew up in Brenham, Texas on a small cattle farm. As an undergraduate agricultural economics student at Texas A&M, Blake participated in the ANRP internship program in Washington, D.C. where he interned with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA). This experience sparked an interest in international trade, leading him to completing a PPIP internship with the U.S. Commercial Service UK in London during his graduate program at Texas A&M. Blake then re-joined NASDA full-time in March 2018, where he works to help U.S. food and beverage companies export their products internationally. As a former intern in both programs, as well as a former graduate assistant for Policy Internship Programs, Blake enjoys working with students and is excited to give back to the program that shaped his life and career.
