Mikayla is a junior agricultural science major from Wallis, Texas. Her passion for agriculture began in her Principles of AFNR class during her freshman year of high school. She was elected as a chapter FFA officer every following year and was elected as a district officer during her senior year. As she became more involved in FFA, her passion for agriculture continued to grow. She has always wanted to be an educator and teach future generations about the industry she adores. During her time at A&M, Mikayla has joined Collegiate FFA Alumni and is currently serving as the chapter secretary. Mikayla spent the spring 2022 semester in Washington, D.C. interning in the Office of Congressman Louie Gohmert through the ANRP Internship Program.
