Thank you for recommending a student for the Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy (ANRP) Internship Program. On this page you will find information about our program, as well as methods for submitting your letter of recommendation.

About the ANRP Internship Program

The Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy (ANRP) Internship Program is one of the premier leadership opportunities at Texas A&M University. It allows students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to complete exciting internships in Washington, D.C., Austin, Texas, and Rome, Italy for a semester while earning academic credit.

Increasingly, internships are becoming a necessity for students looking for a competitive advantage when entering the job market. The ANRP Internship Program is one such opportunity specifically designed for students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, offering benefits that are unparalleled by other university programs across the nation. By integrating practical work experience in a professional environment, students are able to build on knowledge from previous coursework and become ready for life after graduation.

Delivery Methods for Letters of Recommendation

We ask letters be addressed to the “Selection Committee” and they will be accepted in the following manners:

1) Online Upload (preferred): Using the online submission form below.
2) Emailed: Emailed by the recommender to anrp@tamu.edu
3) Hand Delivered: Students may pick up a hard copy of the letter in a sealed envelope with the recommender’s signature along the seal. Students will then turn the letter in with their entire application packet.

All letters must be signed by the recommender and contain their contact information. All letters must be received by the posted application deadline.

Letter of Recommendation Submission Form

  • As a service, if the applicant email is provided the applicant will receive an email notification that a Letter of Recommendation was received. The applicant will not receive a copy of the letter, though the letter, along with the applicant's entire application, will be shared with potential hosting offices.
